The Feathered Map

While cleaning the attic, Lila found an old wooden box with a glowing feather inside. Attached was a tiny map and a note:

“Follow the feather, and you’ll find the island where parrots speak the truth.”

Lila’s heart raced. Pico squawked, “Adventure time!”

The Island of Speaking Parrots

Lush trees, colourful flowers, and parrots of every kind welcomed them. But these parrots weren’t just talking, they were telling stories of the past, songs of the wind, and even warnings about a vanishing treasure.

One wise old parrot said, “Only a child with a brave heart and a loyal parrot can protect our secret.”

Lila looked at Pico. “We’re in.”

The Treasure of the Parrot King

Guided by riddles and Pico’s sharp memory, Lila and her feathered friends climbed cliffs, crossed rivers, and found a cave shaped like a beak.

Inside was the Crown of the Parrot King, glowing with golden light.

But danger was near. A greedy poacher had followed them!

With quick thinking and a loud “CAW!” from Pico, the parrots swarmed the poacher and sent him running.

A New Guardian

The parrots cheered. The island was safe.

The wise parrot gave Pico a shiny feather necklace and said, “You are now Guardian of the Island. And Lila, you are our bravest explorer.”

With hearts full of joy and wings ready to soar, Lila and Pico promised to return whenever the island needed them.
